The Playa is a desolate and unforgiving expanse. The scorching sun and arid air conspire to test your limits. In such an inhospitable realm, the act of receiving a gift transforms into a moment of profound wonder and unexpected enchantment.
Food for the soul
This year I will be serving refreshing Moroccan mint tea (hot or cold), Moroccan snacks (such as dates with marzipan, nuts and seeds), Butter cookies, Korean Ramyun, Japanese Curry, Miso Soup, and a few other surprise snacks.
Rest your weary feet
The living room is designed to help you relax. Lay down on a comfortable mattress packed with pillows, and even take a nap if you need. Peaceful music will be playing, allowing your ears to recover from the incessant Playa EDM. You could even read a book from my library of Playa curated books.
Communicate with loved ones
Get on the camp’s Wifi (powered by a Starlink Satellite dish), and connect with your loved ones. Tell them how much you do NOT miss them (or civilization, for that matter).
